It seems like this Halloween could just be one for the books, everyone really goes above and beyond and gives their all. The courtyards are extremely decorated and the people get very extravagant with their costumes. One thing that will be worth visiting is the celebration in Benton City. They ALWAYS go beyond that, but this year there seems to be more people planning to come out.

On Sunday, October 31st, Benton City is hosting a huge trick or treat event for the kids. Local businesses and individuals have registered to be added to a map that will be available at the start of the event. You can obtain your card either from the Benton City Chamber website or from the Chamber kiosk at 513 9th Street. The event starts at 3 p.m. and lasts until 7 p.m. They will follow the social distancing protocol and ask that everyone abide by the protocol.

The city will be bursting with Halloween spirit and you are encouraged to take a ride and be a part of it! There will be flash mobs, creepy decorated houses and a pumpkin carving competition. To find out all the details and see how to participate, visit the Benton City Chamber of Commerce.

I look forward to it every year and take part in it. I’ll be handing out candy at the Palm Bar & Grill from 3:00 to 7:00, so I hope to see you all out there!
