REDFIELD, SD – The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will host an open door public meeting to discuss and receive public input on the proposed project to rebuild US Highway 212 from five miles east of Redfield to east of Frankfurt. Open House is on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at the Frankfort Community Center on Jefferson Ave. 602 planned in Frankfurt.

The Open House will be an informal one-on-one meeting with the SDDOT design staff. Information on obtaining right of way and moving assistance will be provided.

Everyone interested in this project is cordially invited to ask questions and exchange opinions between 5.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. A presentation will take place shortly after 5.30 p.m.

SDDOT staff will be available with displays to discuss the proposed project and answer questions. During this time, participants also have the opportunity to submit written comments.

On this page you will find general information on the scope and location of the project. After the open house, more information about the project will be added to the website. The public can also comment in writing on this page until Friday, October 22, 2021.

People with disabilities are also advised that this public gathering will take place in a physically accessible location.
