Review: Spin Master’s Bat-Tech shows off Batman’s wonderful toys

Spin Master has sold Batman characters for a while, but their new Batman Bat-Tech line is an impressive new set of 12 “and 4” characters that make me stop with what I’m doing and just play. I was lucky enough to get an exclusive figurine made just for the 2020 NY Toy Fair, which never happened. Only 1,000 were made and it’s faaaancy.

Check out this cool armor! Check out these devices and batarangs! You just have to do it from this photo though because the second this toy walked in my 10 year old snatched it from me. No appeals from “But it’s a collectible” would be heard. This boy once said to me, “Do you know what happens to people who keep toys in their boxes, Aba? Your children bother you EVERY day to open the box. Is it that what you want?”

Still, I’m very impressed with the playability of the Bat-Tech series. I’m not used to 4-inch toys having this level of playability. You also have two “chase” figures, a blue Batman armor and an all purple joker. I actually saw this Batman on Target the other day. I’m considering going to a store for her four Night wing Toys since i’m a titans fan back from waaaay. Speaking of Nightwing, check out THAT:

You can also get 12 inch versions of the figures. I was sent a 12 ″ Nightwing and a really scary 12 ″ Joker that I didn’t take out of the box. For real. This is the PERFECT size for younger fans who may not have the same patience for a smaller toy, yet they are just as detailed.

I am also impressed with the price on both of them. The 4 “figures start at $ 7.99 and the 12” figures start at $ 9.99. Not bad.

Oh wait one thing … did I mention the Batmobile? Although none was mailed to me, Spin Master makes a heavily doped 2-in-1 Bat-Tech Batmobile. Similar to an earlier non-Bat-Tech model, this one has been updated. New color applications make it look nice and chic. Why is it 2-in-1? Because you can lift the hatch and start the bat boat! This $ 19.99 toy has room for each of your 4 “figures (sorry, the 12” boys get it their own trip without a boat).

All in all, an impressive selection of toys that should be great for fans of all ages. Including me if my son would only share.
