WASHINGTON – The US Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE / NNSA) is hosting a virtual job fair for the Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE) on Wednesday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. EDT.

Seeking the next generation of nuclear safety professionals, NSE is working to recruit over 2,500 new employees to join its exceptional workforce in 2021.

The virtual job fair includes hiring officials from the NNSA and its National Laboratories, Plants and Sites, including:

NNSA federal managers and NNSA Management and Operating (M&O) contractors will interview and hire professionals with a wide range of skills and in many locations to support the nation’s national security mission.

“The success of the NNSA’s major national safety missions is made possible by the daily work of the 50,000 skilled and dedicated professionals who make up the nuclear safety company,” said Lewis (Lew) Monroe III, NNSA’s director of human resources. “The virtual job fairs are a great recruiting opportunity to attract the best and brightest to our incredible workforce.”

  • Personnel security specialist
  • Security specialist

Contractor positions available in NSE Labs, Plants and Sites in a variety of areas include:

NNSA and its contractors are hiring in:

During the online event, candidates will have the opportunity to have face-to-face chats with hiring managers and HR professionals about the NSE’s vacancies. Candidates also have the opportunity to visit virtual rental booths, view information and videos about NSE locations and apply directly for interesting positions. Job seekers can register and submit résumés until the day of the event, however Pre-registration is highly recommended.

After the event, depending on the number of registrations and CVs received, follow-up interviews can take place for several days.
