The Guelph Family Health Team says it will be offering COVID-19 vaccinations to children ages five to 11 at Stone Road Mall.

The clinic is slated to open on Thursday and stay open until December 16.

“With the expectation to vaccinate the approximately 10,500 Guelph children in this age group, the goal is to have a location with easy access,” said Ross Kirkconnell, general manager of the health team.

“The location in the mall is a great collaboration between the Guelph Family Health Team and Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health. We worked together to quickly pull this together to make this important public health effort as successful as possible. “

Doctors, nurses, and nurses will occupy the clinic, which is located near the escalator and elevator to the lower level, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday
