CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mon. (KFVS) – If you are looking for a job, the Shawnee Park Center on Thursday afternoon is the place to go.
The Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce is holding a recruitment event from 2pm to 6pm
There will be 25 employers at the event offering full-time and part-time work.
If you want to participate, the organizers ask you to bring a résumé.
âPrepare for an on-site interview. There will be some employers willing to hold on-site interviews if you are interested in a job tomorrow, âsaid Kim Voelker, Vice President of Cape Chamber.

Project CAPE is a recruitment event designed to bring together local employers and agency clerks to solve local workforce problems. It stands for Connecting Area Partners for Employment.
It is a collaboration between the Cape Chamber, Community Partnership of SEMO, First Call for Help, Workforce Development Board, Cape Adult Education & Literacy and others.
