Orrington Therapeutic Horse Ranch is holding a fundraiser on Saturday

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – A therapeutic horse ranch in Orrington is seeking community support to continue serving customers.

Reigning Hope Ranch serves people of all ages who are struggling with physical and emotional challenges.

They’re running a fundraiser on Saturday to help cover programming and maintenance costs at the ranch.

This is the first event open to the community.

There is live music, raffles, a candy hunt and much more.

The owners say that hopefully this event will give the community a chance to see what they are all about while having some fun at the same time.

“We really hope for a big turnout, and you want this place to be full. It’s just a fun, safe Family Fun Day with a good cause behind it.

“So I feel like you can bring your family with you, have a wonderful afternoon, have a safe environment and see what we’re all about.”

“We’ll have loads of stuff for the kids to learn a little about ourselves and hopefully to take home with us and share with those we might be able to help.”

The fall harvest fundraiser is Sunday.

It is located on 305 Center Drive in Orrington, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Adults pay $ 10, children ages 4-15 are $ 5, and families 6 and older are charged $ 40.

100% of the money raised will go to the ranch.
