Dakota County Historical Society holds silent auction

03/22/2022

The Dakota County Historical Society will host a Silent Auction Open House on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Lawshe Memorial Museum. There is no access to the event to place bids on items.

The Lawshe Memorial Museum is located at 130 3rd Ave. N. South St. Paul. For more details, contact the Lawshe Museum at 651-552-7548 or visit the Dakota County Historical Society website to learn more.

The Lawshe Museum will undergo improvements and renovations later this summer. In preparation, the organization cleared out many areas of the museum, eliminating the need for a number of items used for programming. These items will be made available to the public to bid on during a silent auction. Please note that none of the items included in the silent auction are artifacts from the museum’s collection, but items used for programming.

The silent auction features antique doors and windows from the Old Town Exhibition, chandeliers from our gift shop, vintage lumber, display case bases, Minolta camera sets and much more.

All proceeds from the silent auction are used to improve the museum archive and collection preservation. Visit the Dakota County Historical Society website for more information and selected photos of the included items.
