Brush Nazarene to Host Fall Festival Benefit on Nov 5 – The Fort Morgan Times

Four youth and a sponsor from Brush will attend the 2023 Nazarene Youth Conference (NYC) in Tampa Bay, Florida in July.

According to the website, NYC is a powerful youth event that occurs every four years and provides an opportunity for high school students from across the United States and Canada to unite in a time of worship, teaching, and community service. During the four days of the conference, the youth will serve others through charitable projects that impact the host city. After Hurricane Ian, there will be many projects for the youth to work on. The conference includes sessions with motivational speakers, creative artists and live concerts by leading Christian recording artists.

To raise funds to send out local youth, the Brush Church of the Nazarene is hosting a Fall Festival on Saturday, November 5th. The festival includes a pancake breakfast, craft market, bake sale and children’s activities. There will be a bouncy house, mini golf and a petting zoo. The family event will be held at the new Brush Church of the Nazarene at 26150 Hwy. 34 west of Brush.

The festival begins with a pancake breakfast from 7am to 9am, followed by a craft show featuring local handicrafts from 10am. At lunchtime, concessions are sold and a bake sale is held by members of the Church. The activities last until 2:00 p.m. and offer plenty of entertainment for the whole family.
