KENTWOOD, MI – Woodland Mall is hosting a black business window display on Saturday, August 14th.

More than 20 companies are expected at the event selling a variety of products including fashion, groceries, shoes, jewelry, cosmetics, kitchenware, gifts, stationery and cards, financial planning, health and wellness items, and more.

“In response to strong consumer demand, we are very pleased to be able to offer this showcase for the second year in a row,” said Mikia Ross, Woodland Mall’s interim senior marketing director, in a statement.

“We appreciate the opportunity to open the mall’s doors to support black-owned businesses that serve our community. There really is something for everyone at this event and we look forward to welcoming these entrepreneurs and their companies. “

The event lasts from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Companies that want to register as sellers for the event can do so here.

Woodland Mall, owned by Pennsylvania-based PREIT, underwent a $ 100 million renovation in the fall of 2019. Last month, officials announced that Phoenix Theaters plans to reopen the cinema in the mall that Celebration Cinema closed last year.
