The Vancouver Public Library hosts a rooftop happy hour and book swap

Great news, book lovers! We have the perfect event to kickstart your love of reading this summer. The Vancouver Public Library is hosting its first-ever happy hour book swap this month, taking place on its rooftop garden. Honestly, we can’t think of a better combination than sunshine, a good read, food, and BC bubbles!

Attendees can expect stunning views of downtown from one of the city’s most desirable rooftops, live music from DJ G-Luve, BC wine and beer, and delicious Syrian food.

Proceeds from the exchange will fund new soundproof study booths at VPL – allowing library patrons to meet, socialize and work across branches.
