The Steinbach Chamber hosts personal Business Excellence Awards again – SteinbachOnline.com

After two years of virtual celebrations, the IHK Steinbach 2022 Business Excellence Awards return to an in-person event on Tuesday, September 27th.

Executive Director Michelle Bezditny says it’s important to celebrate Steinbach companies in this way, recognizing their success and community involvement. “We are absolutely thrilled to be the host, especially after the last two years,” enthuses Bezditny. “We know Steinbach is a unique city with a diverse economy, and the Steinbach Chamber’s Business Excellence Awards recognize the significant role these companies play in making our community incredible.”

According to Bezditny, over 40 nominations have been received in recent months. Upon completion of the nominations, an independent selection committee carefully evaluates the submissions and then selects the recipients in each category: Company of the Year, Community Engagement, Future Leader, and Non-Profit Excellence.

“The only one selected by public vote is the Customer Service Award,” adds Bezditny. “We’ve heard it’s an absolute honor to be nominated, and by looking at the number of nominations, we know these companies are doing an exceptional job in our community.”

The evening will begin with a networking opportunity, followed by a State of the City address from Mayor Earl Funk and a message from Chamber President Christine Beaumont.

“Then we will move on to the formal portion of the evening, celebrating business excellence and presenting awards across a range of categories.”
