Before school starts, King Philip, Plainville, Norfolk and Wrentham school districts are hosting a pop-up Covid-19 vaccine clinic on Monday August 30th.

The clinic takes place from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the King Philip Regional High School Bus Loop, 201 Franklin St., Wrentham.

The school districts are working with Cataldo Pro EMS to organize the vaccination clinic for students 12 years and older, family members and school staff before students go back to school on September 1st *

At the clinic, the Pfizer vaccine will be available to parishioners ages 12 and up. Community members between the ages of 12 and 17 require a signed waiver from a parent or guardian, but do not require an adult to be with them at the time of vaccination. Both the Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available to anyone over the age of 17.

Those interested in visiting the clinic are asked to register in advance and agree to the vaccination of their child.

TO REGISTER, CLICK HERE.

Parents can also accompany their children to the clinic in order to register on site and obtain their consent.

While the clinic accepts walk-ins at the allotted times, prior registration is preferred as it helps prepare for adequate care and staff, and supports an efficient clinic.

For those receiving the Pfizer vaccine, a second dose clinic will be held in the same location on Tuesday, September 20, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Anyone with questions about the upcoming clinic is encouraged to contact Dot Pearl at [email protected].

* Note: The start dates for Pre-K and Kindergarten may differ from those of the rest of the student body. Norfolk families received notification of the start date for Pre-K and Kindergarten. The kindergarten orientation in Plainville is September 1st and the first day for kindergarten is September 2nd. Please visit your school’s website for more information.
