Jacksonville-based Newfold Digital, which builds websites for businesses worldwide, registered 38 brand names with the state in the second week of August.

On August 9-12, Newfold registered the fictitious names ranging from “339 222 5132” to “yourwebhosting” with the State Division of Corporations.

The phone number connects to Buydomains.com, another name registered by Newfold Digital.

Paola Lorenzo, Newfold Digital Communications Manager, said Aug. 15 that the filings stem from the February 2021 merger of Jacksonville-based Web.com Group and Burlington, Massachusetts-based Endurance International Group.

Lorenzo said it was “two powerful online presence companies coming together to create a BIG win for small business owners worldwide.”

Newfold Digital says it builds websites for “millions of customers” worldwide and is the third largest provider of web presences.

Jacksonville remained the headquarters while Web.com Group and Endurance International Group each had their own portfolio of brands.

Web.com’s brands include Web.com, Network Solutions and Register.com

Some of the marks have been registered in Burlington.

“However, all of our trademarks then had to be registered in Florida,” since the merged company will be headquartered in Florida, Lorenzo said.

Therefore, the 38 names were registered with Newfold Digital Inc. as owners.

Newfold Digital is located at 5336 Gate Parkway, the former headquarters of Web.com Group.

The portfolio of brands includes Bluehost, CrazyDomains, HostGator, Network Solutions, Register.com, Web.com, Yoast and others.
