EAST HADDAM – Music Along the Trails, an outdoor fundraiser, is one of several public events the nonprofit I-Park Foundation is holding this fall to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

This memorial service, which is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, will include a quarter-mile audio path of music selections by former I-Park composers from the past 20 years, according to a press release. Guests are invited to experience the music as they partake of court-fresh food from G-Monkey and wines.

Tickets are $ 100 and can be purchased online at i-park.org or by calling 860-306-0636. All proceeds support the Artists-in-Residence program at I-Park.

Sixteen artists from across the country premiered nine new works of art in the country at a community event on September 18, according to the venue. Another 40 existing environmental works of art are available for viewing.

The artists of the I-Park anniversary commission, Marvin Touré and Sui Park, installed their works this spring. This existing work is complemented by brand new installations from Die-cast (directed by Brenna Geffers and Doug Greene) of Pennsylvania, Gibson + Recoder, Benjamin Heller and Paul Golisz, all of New York; Le’Andralesenur from New Jersey, Thomas Putzier from Minnesota, Daniel Shieh from New York and Taiwan – and their team members working together.
