Harpoon Brewery hosts retro New Year brunch with old-school video games, do-it-yourself granola bars, and exclusive beers

Harpoon Brewery is celebrating 2022 with brunch and beer.
On Saturday, January 1st, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests are invited to take part in the Spoons, Toons, N ‘Brews brunch event at the brewery. Limited Edition Fruity Pebbles Pretzels and mimosas from the brewery’s League Family beers. The do-it-yourself granola bar is complete with Harpoons stout milk.
The event has a retro theme and gets nostalgic with Saturday morning favorites from childhood.
Tickets are $ 35 and can be purchased online. The tickets include:
- A drink
- Unlimited access to do-it-yourself muesli bars
- A nostalgic cereal bowl and spoon to take away
- Classic video games
- Cartoons are played on Brew Hall televisions
- Access to open catwalks to see and learn about the brewery, as well as early access to the beer hall in front of the public
- Access to take away the new Retro Rye IPA as a gift
The Retro Rye IPA is, according to Harpoon, a “dry-hopped brew that mixes modern and cryo-hops with an alcohol content of 6.5%”. Guests at the Spoons, Toons, N ‘Brews Brunch get an exclusive foretaste before it hits the Beer Hall in January.
The event will take place at Harpoon Brewery at 306 Northern Ave. held in Boston.
