Camp Courage benefit event on the main stage on February 6th

Main Stage is hosting its first big fundraiser of the year on Sunday, February 6 from 12pm to 6pm that you won’t want to miss.

Main Stage partnered with The Law Tigers (Arizona Motorcycle Attorneys), Yavapai Broadcasting Company and the AZ Burn Foundation for Live with Courage, a Camp Courage fundraising extravaganza. Camp Courage is a camp for burn survivors in Arizona.

The Arizona Burn Foundation hosts Camp Courage each year for children between the ages of six and sixteen who have suffered traumatic burn injuries. During this week of camp, kids get to forget about surgeries, procedures and hospitals and just have fun in the cool pines of Prescott Arizona for a week each year.

This summer camp, made available to youth by Burn Survivors, is funded by donations to the Arizona Burn Foundation. For more than 50 years, the Arizona Burn Foundation has provided quality support programs for child and adult Arizona burn survivors and their families.

Main Stage and its partners are committed to making this a great community event and raising money for this great organization. This is an all ages event with live music from Combo Deluxe and Well Dressed Wolves. Yavapai Broadcasting Co. will broadcast live from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., sharing stories from campers and their families.

There will be fire trucks for the kids on site, food trucks, raffles and a silent auction with great prizes donated. Prizes on offer include a four-day rafting trip on the San Juan River by Tsé Kooh Outfitters, autographed Coyotes jerseys, autographed Cardinals football, Verde Canyon Railroad premier tickets, spa/restaurant/winery/golf gift certificates, jewelry, local gift packs and more.

There is also a poker run starting at the Verde Canyon Railroad with a stop at Burning Tree Cellars and back to the main stage. The poker run costs $20 to enter.

The first week of February is National Burns and Fire Prevention Week. Verde Valley Fire Department and Cottonwood Fire Department will also be in attendance, as will the Arizona Burn Foundation to share and provide support on fire and fire prevention tips for the community.
